I will participate in the TaBOOK festival this year, October 1st to 3rd.
We will hold an exhibition “Surimi Mountain” with me and another Japanese illustrator Saki Matsumoto.
The exhibition was named “Surimi” by the promoters because “Surimi” is a popular Japanese thing in the Czech Republic so that it is obvious that the exhibition’s theme is Japan. The exhibition takes place on a small mountain.
Recently the confirmed corona cases in the Czech Republic have been spiraling. Please be careful about yourself and courteous to others as much as possible in those difficult times.
毎年チェコのターボルという街で行われている、TaBOOKという本や印刷物などを展示販売する行事に今年は参加させて頂く事になりました🙌
チェコに在住されているイラストレーター松本沙希さんと一緒に展示をさせて頂きます。
この展示名は、チェコ人の展示を進行して下さっている方が付けてくれました。
日本人の展示という事で、チェコの中で幅広く認識されている日本の物『すり身🐟』と、展示会場が小さな山の上？にあるそうなのでこの名前になりました。日本人だったら思いつかないようなユニークなアイディアで、とても愛らしいです。🇯🇵🇨🇿
最近はチェコのコロナ感染者数がとても増えておりますので、素直にお越し下さいとお伝えする事が難しい状況をとても残念に思います。
