I participated in the TaBOOK festival 2020.

This festival located in a small city Tábor, Czech, hosts numerous exhibitions and book sales.

We held an exhibition called “Surimi Mountain” with me and another Japanese illustrator Saki Matsumoto.

The exhibition was named “Surimi” by the curator Klára Zahrádoková because “Surimi” is a popular Japanese thing in the Czech Republic so that it is obvious that the exhibition’s theme is Japan. The exhibition took place on a small mountain.

毎年チェコのターボルという街で行われている、TaBOOKという本や印刷物などを展示販売する行事に今年は参加させて頂きました。

チェコに在住されているイラストレーター松本沙希さんとの二人展です。

この展示名は、キュレーターのKlára Zahrádokováさんが付けてくれました。

日本人の展示という事で、チェコの中で幅広く認識されている日本の物『すり身』と、展示会場が小さな山の上にあるのでこの名前になりました。
